Today the buyer signed the contract for a house and several land areas. We joined the buyer at the Estate Agent office. It is a legal obligation for the Estate Agent to read through and explain the contract and other important documents. We used the prepared English documents and translated other matters. It is important not to rush this process. So we enjoyed drinking tea and chatting as well. Both the buyer and Estate Agent looked so happy. The contract is signed. The keys are handed over....

Recently we have been busy helping an Australian family buy property and land in Kashiwazaki. We act as a centre piece between the estate agent and seller and the non-Japanese buyer. There is a lot of work involved including the translation of contracts and other important information. I mostly enjoy the personal interaction, helping people to come to Japan, move around, buy cars, fix things etc. I think it is "total service". Today we met in person for the first time.
